Un grandissimo risultato quello raggiunto dall&#8217;Unit\u00e0 Operativa di Urologia della Clinica Padre Pio di Mondragone. Recentemente, l&#8217;equipe medica guidata dal primario Capodipartimento Tammaro Carmelo D&#8217;Angelo, ha eseguito un delicatissimo intervento che \u00e8 andato a buon fine. Si tratta di un intervento di chirurgia oncologica renale. Un uomo sotto i cinquant&#8217;anni \u00a0aveva un tumore a tutti e due i reni. L&#8217;intervento dell&#8217;equipe medica ha permesso di asportare il tumore con la particolare tecnica della laparoscopia, senza tagli alla pelle.<br \/>\nSono state asportate masse tumorali molto voluminose, di circa 3 centimetri e mezzo. Si \u00e8 constatato, successivamente, che si trattava di carcinoma papillare di tipo 2 di Fuhrman. Dopo l&#8217;operazione, attraverso i controlli sul paziente, \u00e8 stato appurata la definitiva guarigione dello stesso. Un intervento d&#8217;avanguardia che lascia ben sperare per il futuro.
