(di Giuseppe Caposto<\/strong>) Ambiente, svolta in Campania: approvate 4 nuove Zone di Protezione Speciale. Oltre 7mila ettari entrano nella Rete Natura 2000.\u00a0

Importante passo in avanti per la tutela della biodiversit\u00e0 e la salvaguardia del patrimonio naturale in Campania. Con il comunicato n. 398 del 30 giugno 2026, la Giunta regionale ha ufficializzato l\u2019approvazione di quattro nuove Zone di Protezione Speciale (ZPS). Il provvedimento introduce oltre 7.000 ettari di territorio all’interno della Rete Natura 2000, il sistema europeo di aree protette creato per garantire la sopravvivenza a lungo termine delle specie e degli habitat pi\u00f9 preziosi d’Europa. L’istituzione di queste quattro nuove aree non \u00e8 casuale, ma \u00e8 il frutto di un percorso di monitoraggio ornitologico avviato nel 2020.<\/p>\r\n


Le nuove ZPS sono:
\u2022 Aree agricole interne Castel Volturno e Cancello Arnone (4.028 ettari)
\u2022 Monteverde (2.131,2 ettari)
\u2022 Monte Origlio e Bosco Cuccari (981,6 ettari)
\u2022 Mondragone (46,93 ettari)
L’approvazione della Giunta Regionale ha un effetto immediato. Per tutti e quattro i territori entra infatti in vigore il regime di salvaguardia provvisorio previsto dalle normative comunitarie e nazionali.<\/p>\r\n


Vuoldire che qualsiasi piano di sviluppo, infrastruttura o intervento urbanistico all’interno di queste aree dovr\u00e0 essere sottoposto a una rigorosa Valutazione Ambientale.<\/p>\r\n


L’obiettivo \u00e8 bloccare sul nascere qualsiasi attivit\u00e0 che possa compromettere l’integrit\u00e0 degli habitat o disturbare le specie protette, contro il rischio di speculazione e degrado ambientale.
