Ci sono storie che meritano di essere ascoltate. Sabato 7 Marzo alle ore 18.30, presso la Chiesa di San Sisto II di Nocelleto, l’ Associazione U.N.A. dedicher\u00e0 un incontro alla SINDROME DI PRADER WILLI.<\/div>\r\n

Durante l’evento, oltre all’intervento delle Istituzioni comunali e di Specialisti come la Dott.ssa Enza Mozzillo, avverr\u00e0 la presentazione del libro “Il coraggio nasce piccolo” di Luisa D’Auria.
La scrittrice racconta la sua esperienza di genitorialit\u00e0, segnata dalla nascita di un bambino con malattia rara, appunto, la sindrome di Prader- Willi.

“La Sindrome di Prader-Willi (SPW) e una malattia genetica rara che colpisce circa I persona su 15.000- 30.000. \u00c8 causata da un’alterazione di alcuni geni situati sul cromosoma 15.<\/div>\r\n

La sindrome si verifica quando una parte del cromosoma 15 di origine paterna \u00e8 assente o non funziona correttamente. Questa alterazione genetica compromette il normale funzionamento dell’ ipotalamo, una regione del cervello che regola fame, crescita, metabolismo e sviluppo ormonale; \u00e8 una condizione complessa che richiede attenzione continua,ma con un intervento precoce e un adeguato supporto medico e familiare.”<\/div>\r\n
