In data 17 gennaio u.s. alle ore 19,00 circa, cinque persone di nazionalit\u00e0 serba, a bordo di un autovettura Skoda, nel tentativo di sfuggire al controllo di una pattuglia delle forze dell\u2019Ordine, sfrecciavano a folle velocit\u00e0 sula S.S. 372 con direzione di marcia Telese-Benevento, rimanendo coinvolti, all\u2019altezza del comune di Alvignano (CE), in un sinistro stradale, rivelatosi mortale per quattro di loro. La successiva perquisizione della berlina, eseguita dai militari del Nucleo Operativo e Radiomobile della Compagnia Carabinieri di Piedimonte Matese (CE), consentiva di rinvenire tra le lamiere vari monili in oro e bigiotteria, probabili provento di attivit\u00e0 delittuosa.
