L&#8217;ultimo mese \u00e8 stato a dir poco catastrofico, nel giro di pochi giorni le fiamme hanno inghiottito enormi aree di fauna e flora, senza contare il pericolo costituito, per i centri abitati, dall&#8217;estensione esponenziale a causa di vento ed alte temperature! Questo ha spinto i sindaci delle comunit\u00e0 interessate dal monte Massico ad agire immediatamente.<br \/>\nA tal fine \u00e8 stata prodotta una lettera rivolta ad organi competenti e sedi istituzionali dovute in cui si esplica la gravit\u00e0 del fenomeno e quelle che possono essere le possibili cause.<br \/>\nLa lettera \u00e8 stata sottoscritta e firmata dai sindaci dei comuni di: Falciano del Massico (Giovanni Erasmo Fava), Mondragone (Virgilio Pacifico), Sessa Aurunca (Silvio Sasso), Cellole (Angelo Barretta) e Carinola (Antonio Russo)Nella lettera si fa richiesta di organizzare un tavolo di discussione affinch\u00e9 il problema si possa debellare innanzitutto con un&#8217;attenta prevenzione, in secondo luogo con il potenziamento delle unit\u00e0 di soccorsi (il cui numero attuale \u00e8 esiguo e non consente l&#8217;immediatezza dell&#8217;intervento) e infine la salvaguardia e la tutela del monte Massico.<br \/>\nTutto questo a difesa del polmone verde al centro delle comunit\u00e0 sopra citate.
